Types of Crysails work
Gentle Deep Tissue There are many forms of deep tissue work being done. Crysalis Touch Deep Tissue is one which takes the uses sympathetic system by surprise. Instead of a typical frontal attack of force - therapist vs muscle - the clients body tissues are taken to a state of hyper relaxation and then worked under. There is no simple explanation other than to say the tissues are taken to where they can NOT respond/contract and then the surrounding joints and tissues are shifted/bent/rotated to allow access in a gentle manner to the structures. This is done in a slow and subtle manner which helps to prevent the normal pain response of deep tissue work. Then when the tissues are released - the contraction of the tissues is naturally released. Clients report that they experience increasing durations of pain free time with Crysalis therapy than they have with other therapies. Gentle does not mean superficial! Please do not be confused. Where your traditional Swedish massage is a surface massage and is gentle - a Crysalis Gentle Deep Tissue massage is anything but superficial. So shifting mental expectations is part of the picture with Crysalis Gentle Deep Tissue. Crysalis works wonderfully when combined with other holistic therapies such as acupuncture, acupressure, herbal remedies. * It is always recommended that if you are on any type of medical care of treatment, that you talk with all your providers to make sure massage is not contra-indicated. Hot Stone Crysalis often uses hot stone when needed as an intigral portion of a normal session. Often the deep penetrating heat of a stone allows that last hurdle of muscle contraction to be released easily. General Relaxation Oh My My My .. there is nothing more exceptional than to be able to take some pure down time. Just say the words "I'm here to simply escape". IntraOral is a specialized type of treatment which is very gentle. This is working with the muscles, ligaments and cranial bones and sutures of the head and throat to heal such conditions as:
OTJ and Work site injuries vary as do sports or workout injury. Every injury is unique and handled as a new case. Often there are subtle differences in the "what" you were doing that affect just "how" it shows up in the body. WHERE it shows up in the body is also going to be unique. Yes, a broken wrist may show up in the shoulder and a broken / sprained ankle may show up in your opposite hip or shoulder. How our body responds to injury is unique to every individual. Repetative Stress Treatment L&I Repetative Stress issues such as Carpal Tunnel when diagnosed and you have an open L&I claim in place can be treated at Crysalis. We have years of experience treating hand/wrist/arm/shoulder issues caused by Repetative Stress in the work place. Tennis Elbow -- it's not all about the courts :) . This is normally a special circumstance and is most often covered under your normal work insurance / medical coverage. Reiki Energy Reiki is perhaps a form of bodywork which is in and of itself, a form outside of time and space. It is not dependant on touch, distance or even time as it can be "charged" for future delivery. With classical roots considered as being Japanese in origin, much of the Reiki learned, taught and studied today is a blend of old traditional and new western philosophy of Reiki energy work. My own Reiki work has it's origins in the traditional Japanese Usui lineages with other studies blended in such as shamanic energy. What I do believe is that energy normally requires your permission. So if I will be using Reiki in a session, I will ask your permission. Otherwise I will simply allow the universe to send through me, what it knows you need on the etheric energy level (Chi). |
